This outfit was worn to one of our favorite meals on our Parisian getaway: Aux Enfants Gâtés (“Spoiled Children” in English), a fantastic little joint off the beaten path in the 14e run by a husband and wife team (literally, they are the only two running the whole place, like real life French superheros). The food is innovative and, most importantly, delicious and the wines are as interesting as they are cheap (sounds crass, but at 3 euros/glass, there is no better word). I had a wonderful escargot and mushroom appetizer, layered with the most delicate and delicious slice of polenta I’ve ever had (and I’m not normally a polenta fan). B had a caramelized Basque pork dish that was equally memorable. Suffice to say this is top of our list of places to revisit next time we make it back to Paris!

Love that coat! Such a great print!!
And I think I read about that place the other day. I was using Utrip to fake plan a vacation that may or may not happen and it was one of the places they suggested

Sounds like your dinner was anything but spoiled, and nothing could be better than this black and white look, mixing prints and peppered with flashes of gold.

Love that coat! What a great in-between-seasons layer. And I'm a really picky eater so I probably wouldn't have eaten any of that fancy stuff you just said, but wine? Yes. Sign me up.

Gosh. I can't wait to visit Paris. Hopefully, very very soon. Meanwhile, great look. Mixed prints! But in a subtle way.
