This past Thursday, I had the honor of wearing a dress by print-master Maggy Frances to the opening of Thread at Union Market. Seriously, her pieces are like a mesmerizing feast for the eyes. And her spring collection has a saucy ’50s housewife vibe that I can really dig on – high-waisted tailored pants and cropped bustiers in ginghams, eyelets, and tropical florals. Basically perfect for clothing the Marilyn Monroe Barbie within me you, just waiting to be freed this summer.

MinkPink sunglasses
A.V. Max necklace (similar here)
floral dress thanks to Maggy Frances
Hermes, Amrita Singh, and Madewell bangles
vintage, nOir, and Elaine B. rings
Nicholas Kirkwood heels (love them in blue, too)
Sophie Hulme bag

Now I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head! But it's a classic so it's forgiven. Cute dress and I love it with the striped shoes!
