This is what I wore for a cider pairing dinner at Birch and Barley, where I was quickly educated that not all ciders are fizzy and sweet. Pleasantly surprised by the dry and wine-like varieties and looking forward to visiting Virginia producers Foggy Ridge, Castle Hill, and Albemarle in the not-so-distant future.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I’m currently obsessed with this particular shade of purple. So much, in fact, that I purchased this Illamasqua nail varnish today in much the same hue…

That's a beautiful color for a sweater! Whenever I see purple on other people, I always end up wishing I had more of it in my closet.

Love the purple. I went to an apple orchard recently and got to sample lots of hard cider varieties. I was surprised too at how many options there are! I had a jalapeno one…crazy right?

Your jeans look amazing on you. They have the perfect amount of distress without being obnoxious – it's something I'm still looking for, as my current pair have wiskering which is just not okay.

Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
