An outfit for cocktails with G. of Tulle and Combat Boots at Northside Social, where I regaled her with thrilling tales of trips to the DMV and we commiserated on the trials and tribulations of the dreaded “work wardrobe.” Good times.

I am apparently all about the flats lately. Also all about this dress, which I recently acquired at Eclectic Threads. I love that it simulates a skirt/top ensemble, thus requiring very minimal thinking.

How excited are we that’s it’s the weekend?! Whatcha all up to? Fun plans?

7 for All Mankind jacket
vintage ’70s dress
Madewell, thrifted, and Lou Lou bangles (fun neon here and here)
Michael Kors watch
Zara sandals
purse from a random boutique
toes in Essie ‘lilacism’

I'm yet to do the whole 'wearing a top over a dress to make it look like it's a skirt' look. I always admire when one does it.

Anywho, you look cute. Per usual.

I was about to tell you I loved that skirt, but then I read about how it's a dress. That's so perfect! Minimal thinking indeed. Your hair always glows so magically in the sun, kind of like a Disney princess's. So pretty!

There is definitely something very school girly about this outfit. I absolutely love the skirt. I remember wearing skirts like that when I was younger, so adorable.

You look lovely as usual.

What a unique color combination on the plaid dress! I love that you wore it as a skirt as I think with vintage plaid dresses most of the time I think I get "plaided out"
Pretty!

So glad we got to get together! And pfft, we talked about more than the DMV! Still not looking forward to my impending visit there.

Anyways, you look gorgeous as always and I look forward to our future get togethers! 🙂
