Nothing says fall quite like these boots. My mom passed them down to me when I was college, but unfortunately my sense of style wasn't mature enough to appreciate them then. Now I find myself looking for excuses to wear them. Funny how that works, huh?

Illamasqua lipstick in 'Growl'
vintage L.L. Bean button-down
United Colors of Benetton sweater (similar here)
Michael Kors watch
Hermes bangles (similar here and here)
Illig corduroy skirt (similar here)
vintage Louis Vuitton purse
vintage Ferragamo boots (similar here)

That is so funny how that works. My grandmother actually gave me some clothes that I held onto for sentimental value, but now find myself wearing them a lot! I love these boots! What a great treasure!

For five years at school I had to wear a grey jumper similar to yours as part of my uniform, and when I left I declared I'd never wear a grey jumper again. But now I like a nice grey jumper! Funny how things change.

My first thought when I saw this post... how awesome are those boots? What a fabulous color. The skirt is quite nice, too. Soft. Unassuming. Very feminine. It is noce to wear leather in that manner now and then.

This clinches it, I need a pair of brown leather boots! I love your corduroy skirt, at first glance I thought it was suede! Such a great outfit!

Such a perfectly classic look. Made even better by the heritage boots. I love how style evolves...and yet stays the same, all at once.

Those boots are so classic! I love them! Yes, it is funny how we can appreciate certain things much better as we get older. Your mom has great taste:-)

Wow, that bag is absolutely to die for. It reminds me of the Kate Spade bag I'm lusting over. http://douxrousse.blogspot.com/2011/10/spoke-too-soon.html
