This is usually the time of year when I begin to don my finest librarian garb for work and other conservative ventures. One of these days I’ll have to find a badass pair of thick frames à la Louise, but I’m still reveling in my glasses and contact-free lifestyle since getting Lasik almost two years ago. Perhaps it might be time for me to get back on the proverbial cool glasses train…

That skirt is so wonderful. I tried buying a similar shirt from Zara, but they ran out of my size. You look ultra chic!

I bought this same skirt after seeing you wear it this summer, but I've been struggling to find ways to wear it in colder temperatures. Thank you for providing me with some great inspiration! I may have to go snag that sweater from Revolve….

I want a badass pair of thick frames too!! I've never needed glasses, but growing up and even now, I've still always wanted a pair of geek-chic badass pair of frames to don my pretty little face hehe!

Love this librarian chic look on you!

I love a skirt that poofs out under a sweater. I could not love sweaters and skirts more right now. Great print too!

I had my eye on that skirt for a while! It's so gorgeous, but I was afraid I wouldn't know how to style it. But you did such a beautiful job here! And I love your vintage brooch 🙂

The blouse and brooch combo is amazing! I dont know what it is about vintage jewelry, but vintage pieces are always more interesting than anything I can find in stores today.

Adore.

I'm rocking some librarian style today, too! Funny–why are we drawn to it in the autumn? And I miss my glasses post-LASIK as well (I'm getting driving glasses, though–still have lots of halos at night).

The brooch placement is just superb, and I adore the pleated and patterned skirt. Very refined intellectual.
