B and I had an excuse to check out Newport, RI this weekend for a friend's wedding. We would have loved to stay longer, but back-to-back hectic weeks wouldn't allow. Regardless, we experienced as much as we could of this beautiful place in two short days.
We stayed in an amazing cottage full of nostalgic treasures like these vintage bathing suits.
Such a dapper little lad.
Our cottage also had a beautiful little storage shed in the back and cool retro bicycles.

That's a fabulous vacation! Last summer my boyfriend and I drove through Newport. Alas, we were on a deadline to get to another state, so we didn't stop for very long, but it's quite the idyllic setting. Can't wait to see more pictures.
I loved visiting Newport, especially seeing the homes and enjoying the quaint feeling of the place. The cottage you guys stayed at looks like a vintage dream!

Newport is gorgeous. I'm from RI and was there this past weekend as well, scoping out wedding venues. Such perfect weather for a vacation/wedding weekend!

I was actually in Newport last week on business! If only we had known then we could have made arrangements for a meet up on the beach! Isn't it such a lovely town? I would have loved more time to enjoy the sights, but it was great to spend what time there I could.
As much as I'm in love with your shoe collection, there's something about being barefoot in the summer that just can't be compared with anything else. Looks like a great trip!

Those framed bathing suits just about killed me.
Newport! Not far from where I grew up (in southeastern CT). My little sis actually went to college at Salve Regina, right in Newport. It's so beautiful out there! And I love the photos of you with the bike....you look like a little girl about to go out for a ride =)
