Still a few New Mexico pictures left to share and I’m determined not to let them get buried with the many other trip photos I get too overwhelmed to weed through. Doesn’t the New Mexico landscape look like the Moon? Maybe it’s because I’m an East-Coaster, but the Southwestern landscape always looks surreal to me.

As for the outfit, this is my favorite winter coat ever, yet to be outdone by another. I got it in a vintage store in Paris about eight years ago. I’m convinced it’s thick enough for sub-zero temperatures, so it only comes out on particularly cold days. And these boot cut J Brand jeans? I’ve basically been living in them lately. As much as the idea of PajamaJeans disturbs me, I’m tempted to compare the two.

You look so adorable in this photos and the landscape if beautiful. I am always jealous of bloggers that can take photographs on an empty highway, that just never happens around here!

I love your Southwest photos! I'm another East-Coaster who can't get enough of that landscape. I think maybe I was born on the wrong coast.

Also, Doc Martins! They don't get much love anymore but I remember wearing them all through middle and high school. They rank right up there with Birkenstocks when it comes to comfort.

You should probably send that coat to me so I can test its ability to withstand subzero temps. I'm just sayin.

The coat is gorgeous, I love the trim, the toggles (oh, what is the proper name for those??) and the rich chocolate color. Yum.

Yes, New Mexico is such a gorgeous landscape, especially for those of us East coasters! I was really dumbfounded when I visited a few years ago, just gaping out the windows.

Thanks for the J Brand jeans recommendation. I've been curious, and may need a nice new pair of jeans soon since all of mine have grown a little tight lately…sigh.

Gorgeous photos. I love the southwest- I agree, it's very surreal. My favorite photos are the ones of you facing away. They look like they're from a magazine. Great coat!!

your outfit in that setting is perfect. it almost tells a story… like you're on the road with no purpose or no particular destination. love it.

After a million different variations on jeggings the idea of pyjama jeans sounds almost refreshing. Plus, they're boot cut so definitely score bonus points there.

Brilliant jacket. And YES, moon like indeed! I love this sort of landscape (not even close to home to me!). And those jeans are delicious. I just want to swaddle myself in a similar pair! (which I own, which alas, no longer fit).
