I wish I caught these characters’ names. They were very sociable! One of the ranch hands asked B if I was picking out which one I wanted. Um, I’ll take two please!

One of my favorite things to do in New Mexico is ride around the BLM land with B and his friends while they look for quail and squabble over politics. Occasionally we’ll skid to a stop to double-check a possible deer sighting with binoculars or when I see something I absolutely must photograph (which is often and they’re all very patient with me). I find it very relaxing to drive seemingly endlessly without seeing a soul. Very “No Country for Old Men,” (hopefully) minus homicidal Javier Bardem in a Dutch Boy haircut.

Your relaxed look is as wonderful as your NYE party look. Going horseback riding sounds great right now–or just driving around. You've given inspiration on two counts then!

I have no sense of this part of the country. Only in movies and books as I have never actually been there myself. You make deserts seem very appealing.

Gorgeous pics, I love this laid back look!

Cool place for a photo shoot. I love old american muscle cars! I would love to import one one day, although british roads arent really made for big cars so I probably never be able to park it, lol.

Adore the old west feel of this post, it evokes some nostalgia. You look so chic with the casual, laid back look. And your "No Country for Old Men" reference made me laugh.

I love the redheaded horse- she/he is so beautiful! Your pictures make me long to take a trip through the Southwest and see beautiful landscapes of America. I can imagine the hot sun and dusty roads from your great photos.

Wow, what a landscape! Joe just commented that you look like you're in a Levi's or Calvin Klein editorial spread. Such great pictures!
