Sorry for the brief absence. I had such great aspirations for blogging over my "staycation," but it was nice to have zero deadlines and schedules for a week, so the blogging took a bit of a hiatus, too.

This editorial by Zanita Whittington starring Bambi Northwood inspired me to bust out my "boot bling" again. Need to make a mental note to hunt for more when I'm in New Mexico for the holidays... Speaking of the holidays, I'm already in full "holiday mode." The Nutcracker channel on Pandora has been playing nonstop and I can't help but smile every time I see Christmas lights. We even did all of our decorating this weekend. Yup, we're fast becoming those people.

  6. hope you had a great holiday, it feels great to disconnect for a little. I enjoyed it so much myself!

    I was so close to getting a tree with my family today, kind of bummed I didn't because I'm going back to my home tomorrow and wont get to decorate it with them. I'll put up my own soon :) so excited for the christmas spirit!!

  13. The colors in these photos are amazing. It's snowing in Scotland so seeing the fall colors of DC is a little surreal for me since I would normally be there if it weren't for studying abroad haha
