I may have, in my possession, the perfect fall/winter coat. If the cut, color, and perfect woven leather buttons were not enough on their own, the plaid wool lining sealed the deal. I will always love Brooks Brothers and its unabashedly-stuffy perfect preppiness, but vintage Brooks Brothers reigns supreme.

Lady this is perfection! You are so lucky to have indeed found the most wonderful fall coat ever! I have been rummaging through the coat racks at thrift stores to find something similar to no avail. I think it has something to do with the city one lives in. Is it strange to say that I would rather look at thrift stores in major cities than their fancy department stores?
