I only came here to watch you watch me leave.

I only came here to watch you watch me leave.

I only came here to watch you watch me leave.

It’s all porch-blogging from now on! I might be out here when it snows. I might be a little obsessed because I’ve been porch-deprived for so long, but I doubt the novelty will wear off anytime soon.

I only came here to watch you watch me leave.

This outfit was from a few weeks ago, when I went to dinner with B and the fam at this great place called the Ice House Cafe in Herndon. I’d forgotten how quaint the old part of Herndon is, because I’ve grown so accustomed to urban sprawl in the surrounding area. It’s quite refreshing to visit old Virginia towns that have somehow managed to maintain some of their charm on the main drag. B and I keep meaning to do more weekend trips to historic parts of Virginia. Hopefully we’ll make it to Richmond sometime soon… Have any “off the beaten path” suggestions for a weekend road trip?

I need to go explore the East coast. I love charming towns that look the same over the past decades. I visit this one town that's a hour drive every fall. It's adorable.

Loving the blouse. I just picked up a blouse with the same pleating on the front, but it's bright blue. I want to find one in a more neutral color like yours as well. I absolutely love the scarf.

I have so many ideas for Virginia (as one of it's native daughters and one of the nerdiest high schoolers ever who took a spring break roadtrip all over the state)! Have you been to Charlottesville/Monticello? How about Appomattox? Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown? If you head to Richmond you should definitely check out the Museum and White House of the Confederacy!

If you want any more ideas, you know where to find me 😉

I love this look on you. You pull it off so well every time. it's a little sickening, really 😉 Maybe one day you could dress up in a clown suit or something, to make the rest of us feel better? 🙂

Seriously awesome outfit. I'd love to see the back of the jeans next time too!

Old Town Fredricksburg has a lot of antique shops, charming coffee stores, and little local shops! I hope you get to Richmond soon! The Fan is a lot of fun and there are so many historical places to visit. Be sure to check out Hollywood Cemetery!
