How do you like the super blown-out hair?  I kind of liked how it turned out. It reminds me of that strangely sterile, yet chic 60’s housewife style. My stylist decided to go more blonde this time and, though I generally try to keep within the realm of “brunette,” I rather like it.

This look came together organically, but I love the way it channels the lingerie trend that’s so popular right now. This top is simple, but it hardly required other statement pieces to make an interesting outfit. Time for it to go to a new home now. Off to the next lucky blogger on the clothes swap, jesse.anne.o! Thanks again Love Charles and Both Yellow Animals for inviting me to participate!

My mom bought these shoes forever ago. I’ll venture to say they might even be the first, truly interesting pair of shoes I ever owned, at least that I can remember. Glad they’ve lasted this long 🙂

I love that top…it may seem silly, but I thought for sure the top would have been some expensive brand..and it turns out it's from least expensive!..Just goes to prove how well it works to mix high and low together!

Beautiful shoes — I used to have some like that but blue, but I lost them along the way. You know, I always think of you as blonde, even though i suppose your hair was darker. Anyway, I love this lighter look for you!

if you tell me where you live I will come over asap and steal your shoes. just so you know. if you ever let it slip. and then a few weeks later can't find your shoes.

also, you are so brave wearing your shirt/bra like this! It looks so totally chic! I love it. You have so pulled it off. But you have such a lovely and classy self/face/person/limbs–lovely limbs! ha, you know what I mean. That you can just pull it off. You're lithe. That's how I would describe you: lovely and lithe. Well, I love this look miss lovely and lithe.

I didn't recognize you at first cause of the blown out hair – something so minor made a big difference (or maybe I'm just off today). I really like the lace top and the peekaboo bra – lingerie is in!
