Ugggh, looking at these pictures reminds me how nice the weather was on Friday! I couldn't contemplate anything but summer ensembles when it was so warm outside...and now we're back to this crap. I can't remember if I've posted these jeans on the blog before, but they were the result of an experiment with bleach and a pair of bright blue American Apparel jeans. This was not the intended end result, but lavender jeans are pretty sweet so I'm not going to complain.
vintage men's J. Press shirt
purse from some boutique in Charleston
Zuni bracelets
Gap belt
DIY American Apparel jeans
Miu Miu platforms
PS Thank you so much Maria of Chicisimo for posting my look from the snow storm!
PPS The shirt is actually just a regular men's oxford button-down, not denim, though it looks a bit denim-y in photos.

Beautiful! You have really long legs. The pants did come really well by the way. I adore the detail on the sandals.

I love the lavender -- especially with the clogs, it looks very fresh. Also digging your knotted shirt.

Those jeans are so pretty! I love that you did them yourself. :)
The pastel colors are beautiful! I am craving them this season!
Pastel colors anchored with brown is so chic. And great outfit to wear those beatiful heels again. Love that your nail polish matches the pants almost. Did you intend for that? Super cute.

awww, those shoes are fabulous!

those platforms are RADICAL!!!! GAH!!! I AM DYING AT THEM!!!
love love love love LOVE this look! normally I super anti pastels, but you rock these colors quite phenomenally. I suppose they're not fully on the dark (pastel) side, haha. Those heels are great and I love the way you've cuffed your jeans with them. Come to think of it, I think the cuffed pants, sleeves and tied waist of your blouse really make this look. Nice attention to detail too with the matching toenail paint. Very cute!!!!
ps I am also secretly in love with that cobblestones walkway. If only the trees were blossoming in the background....sigh.....
Love how you're rockin' the denim shirt. Not sure if I'm brave enough to try it again.
I'm obsessed with this one. I love the casual style. Bravo!
I always love your title posts! And those jeans are wonderful. Are they a pale lilac color now? I love the bleach experiment.
