Visiting wineries is fast becoming a theme on this blog.  This time we visited La Grange (our favorite of the day), Barrel Oak, Philip Carter, and Aspen Dale Winery at the Barn.  All were picturesque and the weather could not have been better (for this time of year).  Pastels seemed appropriate.

Caught a photo of the elusive B.  I actually take about as many photos of him as he does of me, but he likes to keep his internet presence to a minimum.

It looks like such a fun outing! And it makes me miss living in the Bay Area and having access to all of that stuff. Now if I want to visit a winery it's usually in the basement of a little General Store in Mennonite country…

And I love your floral skirt! It makes me think of spring with its soft colors and print.

I work in a small wine shop in Alexandria, and we do VA winery but trips with our customers a few times a year to get them out to local wineries. You should definitely give Linden a try if you haven't already and the people at Fabbioli Cellars could not be better! Glad to see support for the local VA wine!

I've only visited wineries twice that I can rememmber, and it was fun. I should definitely make the effort to do so more often.
