too much monkey business

too much monkey business

too much monkey business

too much monkey business

too much monkey business

I'm sooo behind!  A four-legged friend had a medical emergency that, when combined with the blizzard-like conditions on Saturday, kind of canceled any hopes B and I might have had for weekend plans/productivity; though spending quality time together and going to bed at a decent hour was hardly a bad thing.

This outfit was from last weekend when I made B take me to Something Sweet so I could get a cookie.

I'm going to make Spaghetti Bolognese this evening and I'm looking forward to it.

vintage blazer
Forever 21 tee
vintage YSL belt
Mango trousers
Born boots
antique locket
Hermes bangle
very vintage LV bag

PS Thank you so much to satinsugar and Mon Mode Blog for the awards!

yup, agreed with all the rest. A great outfit, I love the mix of casual and dressy. When you throw on the heels and blazer, you can totally get away with a casual gray shirt like that! Looks so cool and indifferent, if you will, yet still put together.

My New Year's resolution is to be more like you -- effortless and classy. I kind of feel like a crazy bat lady lately....

I love this slouchy look -- the pants, especially. And spaghetti! Nums.

Those pants are fantastic and one of my favorite things about vintage LV is the coloring of the older versions. Such a rich and distinct color.

this is one of my fav outfits you have posted! i like things that seem basic from a distance- pants, jacket, tee- but then close up you see all these interesting details. the pleating/gathering on the pants is so cool! and i love the boots too. ~joelle

enjoy Monday ... and yes, i would love to see some more "non-fashion"photos ... after all, things are all related - inspirations are everywhere, xx

that pant fit looks incredible on you! relaxed yet still chic ~ and not everyone can pull it off (ehem, me, as I have a little curve in my hips... perhaps a little more than I'd prefer ;)

And of course, thank you for "leaving love" over at CGC last week ~ I was so happy to see readers like you leaving their support!

drollgirl said...

you are wearing pants! whee! i think this is the first time i have seen that! i don't wear pants very often. wait. that doesn't sound right. i recently got some new jeans and it is kind of exciting. usually i am a dress and skirts kind of gal, but it is fun to mix it up and wear jeans, particularly when it is so chilly!

hope the 4-legged friend is ok!!!!
