Got this vintage fur jacket in Nola for $75, after talking them down from $100. Maybe it wasn't a huge bargain, but I couldn't have been more proud of myself than if won the Nobel Prize - that will never happen, which is why I can make such brash statements.
I wore this on Friday to hang out at a friends' house and do nothing in particular. Per usual, F pointed out that I was overdressed and, per usual, I told him to suck it. We ended up drinking a bunch of wine and playing Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit (Genus 6, the impossible one). Despite my limited blogging vocabulary, I rock at Scrabble, fyi.

Great bargaining skills! I really love that coat, it's luxurious & fun all at the same time. I'm usually the overdressed one everywhere too, but I like it haha. & Scrabble, I'm not so good at but Pictionary, I can probably kick your butt ;)
That fur is awesome! And I love bargaining others down - it makes me way more proud to wear the piece afterward. And I am ALWAYS overdressed. But that's better than being perpetually underdressed, I suppose.
