Friday was gorgeous, save for an inopportune shower. K and I started off with po boys from Domilise's and proceeded onto shopping on Magazine St, where we got a few vintage goodies at Funky Monkey, met a new shopping buddy from St. Louis, who tagged along for a bit, and made an essential stop at Sucre for macarons.
K and I agreed that the macaron pyramids would be perfect for a baby shower, if such a thing were necessary.

sweet jesus are those edible?? fancy food in nz is limited to a neatly iced bit of cake from starbucks.

yay, i love nola!! i go back at least once a year too. just down the street from sucre is a lovely gelato place called la divina gelateria with the coolest flavors! sigh, talking about it makes me want to take another trip soon even though i went during labor day.
